The PAMAS S4031 WG is a portable particle counting system for water based hydraulic liquids (polyglycols), mainly used for hydraulic systems in offshore oil and gas industry. A wear resistant ceramic piston pump guarantees a constant flow. With a simple-to-use touch screen user interface operation is easy and intuitive. The system is equipped with an integrated battery for more than three hours operation and a data storage of more than 4000 measurements. Usable for batch sampling and online measurements.

Maximum particle concentration: 24,000 particles per ml at a coincidence rate of 7.8 %
Nominal flow rate: 25 ml/min
Calibration according to common cleanliness standards and based on international calibration standards which are traceable to the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Up to 32 free adjustable size channels may be selected and stored in the system. 3 different channel settings for polyglycol measurements are pre-set in the system:

Calibration in six size channels: > 4, > 6, > 14, > 21, > 38, > 70 µm(c)
SAE AS 4059, channels B – F, 6 – 70 µm(c):
Calibration in five size channels: > 6, > 14, > 21, > 38, > 70 µm(c)
NAS 1638, 5 – 100µm:
Calibration in the size channels > 5, > 15, > 25, > 50, > 100 µm
